About My Local Drainage, and who turns up at your door

A drainage brand for homes, with published prices and engineers you can name. Here's who we are and how the work gets done.

Why the group has a separate brand for homes

The OneFlow Drainage group works for households and businesses. My Local Drainage is its brand for households only: homeowners, tenants, landlords and people buying a house.

That focus shapes what you'll find here. Prices are published rather than announced on your doorstep. The guides answer the questions homeowners actually ask, such as who pays when a shared drain blocks. And the town pages are written about the streets and housing in each place, not copied from one to the next.

The site is built around everyday household jobs: a toilet that won't flush on a Sunday, a kitchen sink full of grease after a family meal, a manhole that fills every time it rains, a drain survey for a house you're buying. Find your problem, see the price, and book in a couple of minutes.

Who does the work

Every job we book is carried out by engineers from OneFlow Drainage. They're based in Bournemouth, Poole and Christchurch and cover Dorset and Hampshire from there.

We'd rather you knew that before you ring than found out from the side of a van. In practice it means:

  • Your contract is with us. You book with, pay and hold your guarantee with MyLocal Drainage Services Ltd.
  • The engineer is from OneFlow Drainage. Their van or uniform may carry the OneFlow name.
  • The reviews we show are OneFlow's. They're Google reviews of the engineers who do our jobs, and they're labelled that way. How we show reviews.
  • It's written down. Your booking confirmation and invoice both say who is carrying out the work.

  1. You see prices before you book

The price list is public, and every job starts with a fixed price agreed before any work starts.

  2. The clock doesn't change the bill

The same price day, night, weekends and bank holidays. No call-out fee.

  3. You know who's coming

The engineer's name comes with your booking confirmation.

  4. You see what we see

We show you the camera footage before we leave.

  5. We tell you what we can't fix

If a blockage is a symptom of a broken pipe, we say so and show you, rather than clearing it and leaving you to find out later.

  6. Nothing is added without a yes

If the job changes, the engineer stops and agrees the new price with you first.

  7. The guarantee is in writing

What's covered, for how long and what voids it are all on our guarantee page.
